Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

I have the reserve - for me the companion fare usually nets out the cost, plus lounge access is a godsend to avoid the unwashed masses.
Agreed. Same reasons I love having the reserve
TL;DR Am I completely screwed for status by having to book with a corporate card?
just add your loyalty # in concur…
I have the Amex Platinum and the lounge access is really the only reason I keep it. I value that at $500 a year as I am a frequent flyer (both work and personal). If you value it at half of what I do, and add the companion pass, you’ll be at the annual fee of the reserve in no time.
There are always airline challenges where you can earn status quickly. Easier to keep it once you have it. They don’t care who pays for the ticket. But most corp will balk at using the personal card for the ticket
Delta miles are known as SkyPesos for a reason. They’re worth far less than any other miles/points. Stick with earning Chase UR or AMEX MR points. Perhaps consider a Hyatt or Marriott card to only charge hotel stays too. You’ll earn enough (nearly useless) Delta points on your Delta flights
There are often corporate status challenges. I’d look into those. If you can show you have a foreign address, you get an MQD waiver as well, though I believe they’ve made it harder.
Add your Skymiles in Concur and get an Amex Platinum (not Delta co-branded Platinum). You’ll still reap the miles though concur no matter who actually pays and you’ll get that sweet MR for everything else. I also have Delta as my $200 incidental credit but still expense baggage fees, so free money.
Haven’t seen it mentioned, but look to see if your company has a delta status promo or challenge. Most consulting firms Ik of do. It’ll help you get status faster and to a higher level of status. That basically replaces the benefits of the reserve in a lot of ways. I have Amex Plat and would recommend if either airport has a Centurion lounge. The points are more valuable and the signup bonus at 100k is still pretty good. Also gets you skyclub lounges. You actually get 5x on the Plat vs 3x on the delta card on airline purchases and they’re in more valuable points vs miles. So it’s even more valuable if you’re able to pay for your own flights. Benefits of delta card are bumping you to the top of your tier for upgrades and companion pass. 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t personally want even more delta miles, especially if you’ll be flying them a lot as is

I believe you only get 5x MR points if you book directly with the airline or through the AMEX portal. If OP has to book through Concur, no bonus points. This is why I think CSR is a better travel card - 3x points regardless of where ticket's purchased.
