Is there such thing as a girl who is "bad at texting"?

I am an extremely introverted and painfully shy person, so that is why I decided to change my career path.
For me to have these meetings early in the morning, I've been getting a bit tipsy just to open up, let loose and express how I feel (that leads to great relationships) but it also steers towards other problems ... I've never been afraid of surgery before and my dad's had a bunch (from military). He lives a few states away but I usually get to see him quite often. He's only in his 40s and my mom is with him. The surgery he's about to have is considered high risk. I'm not worried or anything, but it's it customary to go see them when they're having a major surgery? He'll be in-patient for at least a week. I have issues “delegating” or simply assigning tasks, which as a Manager is a whole thing. Like I feel “bad” asking my people to do things that i know i can do but shouldn’t because it’s not up to me. When I assign a task i try to be super clear with instructions, give examples, help them get started…but I still feel bad. Idk. Anyone goes through this?
