I love NJ! Depending on the town, the public school systems are great, and you would be close to NYC if that’s important to you. Also the winters are less harsh in NJ compared to MA
What if central NJ around Princeton?
MA. Associated with a lot more culture than Jersey (e.g. top tier museums, very good symphony, stronger music scene). Great things for kids to experience.
Also taxes, NJ's property tax is something you should look into.
I don't know anything about life and would STILL pick MA
Ok
You are getting a lot of “MA 100%!” with no supporting details. My theory - MA has a longer history, their own sport teams, etc. so you are going to have knee jerk responses.
My 2 cents - Newark connects to far more airports than Boston. Public schools are top tier. Easily get to NYC or Philly (or heck, even Boston). People in suburban NJ are simple and keep to themselves (MA natives have a reputation of being more boisterous). Of course, if you like the New England atmosphere, by all means go Boston. It’s a wonderful city. But I’m biased to NJ because I was born and raised there and almost all my clients are there :)
Logan connects to an awful lot of places now days; I doubt EWR actually connects to many more and that may be reversing / reversed as Delta has expanded their footprint.
MA all the way! Couldn’t stress this more
Your reasons? You seem convinced. Would love to know more!
MA 100%
Reason reasons plz
NJ has great schools, beaches for summer time, easily commutable to NYC depending on where you live, warmer than MA, etc
Would you rather eat dinner off of a clean plate or out of a toilet? Massachusetts.
Will pick former. Thx. But why do you say that?
Depends where in each location.
I live close to Princeton and the area is nice. However, I am bias in that I love Boston as a city and the surrounding areas are nice too. But, same comp your money probably will go further in NJ. Can't go wrong with either area though.
I've lived in both places and MA by a mile
Give some reasons plz
Do you want more beach or more snow?
Beaches but cape cod is nearer from MA than NJ
Mass is the cradle of our nation, NJ is suburban hell
How so?
MA. The closer you are to the ocean, the more mild the winters. It’s 45 degrees in Beantown today, 67 tomorrow.
100% MA
Your reasons?
I'd live in NH, and commute Boston; or live in PA and commute CNJ/NNJ.
