Newbie to healthcare here with a very basic question: if a provider stores medical records electronically, and a patient requests those records to be sent via mail, is it still considered ePHI/EHI? In other words, is it the way the data is maintained rather than the method of transmission? (Asking in context of new Information Blocking rule)

How do you deal with an HR that ghosts you after 3 interviews that went really well? I landed an offer at Deloitte as a sr. consultant, and then negotiated for a managerial role. I was told all interviewers were really happy with me so she would be glad to arrange a reevaluation for the new role(I was interviewed by 2 Sr. Managers & an MD for Sr. Consultant role and will have to take another round with a partner for the managerial position). I tried following up thrice after, no response.

I used to see people who didn't care about current events or politics as intellectually lazy and irresponsible.

However, I feel burnt out on the constant stream of divisive bickering and toxicity.

It feels like ideas don't matter and pragmatism has become a dirty word for both sides.

For the first time in my life, I don't want to know what's happening in the world and I don't care who wins.

Apathy feels good right now.

The occasional posturing we get in here about getting fired or “cancelled” for bigoted opinions is extra silly when we consider Glassdoor makes you verify with your work email address or LinkedIn to post and if someone really thinks they’re being persecuted, Glassdoor knows who they are lol
