My niece is an environmental engineer, working on green energy as an intern in the Netherlands and just graduated from her Masters in Environmental studies. I’m wondering if anyone is willing to refer her to entey level jobs in her field in the Netherlands? She is proficient in English and learning Dutch now.

The Booth application form asks you to enter frequency of involvement in an Activity in hours/year but then the application preview shows that number as “hour(s) per week”. Has anyone else noticed this? How are you entering the hours? I don’t want my app to show “120 hour(s) per week” for a volunteer activity...

Some of my SO exes constantly text & call him.. he doesn’t respond all the time & he says he sets boundaries & they just don’t respect them & blocking them isn’t an option bc he doesn’t believe in cutting people off. Looking for tips/suggestions in leaving public after 6 years. Also wanting to change industries at the same time. The latter appears to be the hard part with so much time in my specific industry.

I think I’m ready to finally take the plunge and start looking for positions outside public. I’m not sure as a first year senior what I would qualify for or common roles tax seniors exit to. I would definitely be open to no longer working in tax.

I’m looking to leave technology risk (IT audit), and get into an industry M&A accountant role. Any advice on how to spin my current experience on my resume for this type of role?

For your resume, how many bullet points under your XP with your firm straight out of college is too many? I’m a senior and don’t have anything else since college that’s relevant. Also, how do you feel about a small section above the bullets detailing the position (where the bullets are more about your achievements in the position)

If you are working industry, 40 hours a week with a competitive pay and left B4 tax - can you share your new job title? Not sure what is out there that I could apply for.

The b4 life is not for me and is actually affecting my family (mom of 2 kiddos). I’m looking into something with true flexibility and less than 50 hours a week. Any advice?
