Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

There have absolutely been hydration breaks in prior cups and other soccer matches. Calm down and enjoy the play. Let them keep the players safe.
SM2 That would be fine if they instituted the breaks whenever the weather crossed certain thresholds. But when they have the breaks and the weather is in the 70s? And ads fill said breaks, sometimes even running over to miss play resuming? We shouldn’t pretend it’s about player safety.
Telemundo is at least showing the players during the breaks and not showing ads

In India, cricket is serious business. During a 75-minute match, they actually have two strategic timeouts mainly for commercials. Sometimes it gets so ridiculous that they’ll take a break even when the batting team needs just one more ball to finish the game off. Fun when everything are commercialized.

I’m hoping for a great World Cup. The one in Qatar was incredible, particularly after that final. Hopefully this tournament delivers the same and manages to avoid all the off-the-field mishaps and drama.

Yesss, how dare they drink water while running 5-7 miles in the game. When will they learn to play non stop like American football?
I completely agree with your disgust with these athletes taking drink breaks.
Like hockey and other sports,, water breaks are naturally built in throughout every soccer game. It’s one of the reasons for line substitutions.
In some parts of the U.S., the heat and humidity can be rough for those not used to it (e.g., Atlanta in mid-summer). Providing hydration breaks so these athletes dont die should be acceptable. But hey, we could just be hypocritical and ignore the fact every American sport has several breaks...one even long enough for an entire concert set up, performance, and breakdown.
In Europe this hydration break became our toilet break. Confirmed by utility water pressure measurements.
