We had a team interview with a candidate, per the candidate's request. During our conversations we discovered that we share a common previous employer. I still have friends there. None remember the candidate, that is explainable. Whats inexplicable was candidates claim of a 2-2-3-3 shift schedule, not the actual 3-3-4-4. If hired, this will be the candidates 5th job this year and college class of 2023. Am I right to be concerned and against hiring this candidate?

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. Usually anonymity on the internet brings out the absolute worst in ppl; they type things anonymously that they would NEVER say in person smh. But I really haven’t seen horrible comments here. Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
