Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. I m on that same boat.. just learned driving, purchased a new car, and am waiting to get it delivered this month.. 3 or 4 months back, I was actively searching for used car.. I found cars in mumbai, pune are way overpriced, prices look inflated by used car selling brands like cars24 or spinny...
So I thought I would anyway lose more than 50k anyway while selling used car, why not take a chance on a new car and use that money for repairs..
Don't buy it from external agents, they will tamper the meter reading and do all other stuff with crap cars.
Get it from Spinny, Cars 24 etc. In your budget, you can get Polo, i20, Baleno with less driven kms and upto 2016 models. Although, the second hand car budget nowadays is pretty high as compared to earlier days. So, my recommendation for you is to go with a new car in around 5-5.5 lakh instead of an old car (5-6yrs old).
Alto, kwid, tiago
You can get, search in olx, and reach out to garages
Rent a car, learn it and return back. In case you've scratched it, they'll charge a few thousands. Doesn't take time learning to drive and then go on to purchase your car. Good luck
I bought 2019 model 52k Kms driven Vw for 3.8 lacs from Cars24 for the same reason. You can get 2017-2018 Suzuki swift/dzire for the price mentioned by you.
Learn to drive from a driving school - even if you do it twice (2nd time for practice), then drive a rental car for a few weeks, that will be good enough practice. You can try different rental cars. This will avoid all the hassle of buying used car, selling it later on. It will cost you far lesser than 3-4L you are planning to spend on a used car.
Car registration, transfer, insurance all the headache can be avoided, if you are clear on buying a new car at a later point time.
Good luck!
Yes, easily. First look out if some one in your known circle is selling off their car.
I was in a similar situation and got myself a used tata tigor under 3 lakh. Got it through contact of a relative and the car is in good condition and less driven
Dents and scratches are a part and parcel of owning a car. Regardless of how professional you drive, dents and scratches will happen. Just chill and get them repaired whenever you can. It's not a big deal. Get the car you want and enjoy it.
Yes possible. I did the same thing. Look for cars which has good resale value like i20, swift so it'll be easy to sell when you have good hold on driving and buy a new one.
Yes with 1-2 lakhs itself you can buy one
Get a decent 2nd hand car brother, spend at least 2.5-3.5L, cardekho or cars24 is having nice cars
My POV is..any way you are planning to buy a new car of 20 L.
Let's say you studied driving with 6-7 months and you drove for sufficient kilometres..
Then you will buy 20L car ,let's say after one year you purchased this second hand vehicle...and at that time you will pawn it ..so why to waste 3-4 lakhs..if you are planning to pawn it.
#this is only applicable if you are not willing to maintain the second hand car
Yeah, my plan is to sell old car after buying new one.
