Toronto ad fish 🤠 I’ve spent most of my career working as a copywriter in London (6 years here, 2 years Toronto) and the market is pretty different here. I’m planning on moving back home but wondered….how do you find work in Toronto? Agencies barely post openings, is the recruiter scene strong? Is it mostly who you know?

Can someone kindly connect me with Investment Banking HR/Recruiter/anyone willing to help? My friend interviewed for Goldman Sachs NY. Cleared the HireVue but didn’t get any communication further. It’s been 4 weeks now. Although the referral came from a VO but the division is different. My friend is looking for Investment Banking division. Need to get in touch with someone from investment banking to push the resume. The rolling process is hurting the chances.Thank you Goldman Sachs
My resume got shortlisted for Operations Associate/Engineer-Amazon Managed Services role. I am an experienced AWS engineer with 5YOE.I feel like this role will be degrading in nature for me. Is it worth joining for this position. I would love to join Amazon based on my experience and skill set. But Not to some position which doesn't require AWS experience.

I would look up reviews online. See what you can find out about each company and their culture.
Which one is speaking to you? Is one of them closer to home, seems like a better fit for your skills, that kind of thing? I would do a pros and cons list, that's what I always do.
Do you want to do Product work? Go Meta
Care about Salary more? Go Bain
Do you want to go to tech? Go to Meta
Want more flexibility with your work? Go Bain
WLB will most likely be rough at both.
Based on what you gave, (which is very little) should be pretty straight forward based on what’s most important to you (which you haven’t mentioned)
Curious what part?
I’m not at Meta but I have people in my network who were desperate to leave, and people who work with me now from meta telling horror stories. There was an EM who came to my big tech as a Staff Eng because he was repeatedly forced to pick people to PIP even though everyone was performing to standard.
Maybe it’s team or location dependent, but based on what I know I wouldn’t go to Meta unless it was a crazy 60-70%+ raise

Consulting and Big Tech give two very different lifestyles. Bain gives versatility. Meta gives depth. Think about which environment drains you faster.
Personally would go with Bain over Meta mostly b/c of layoff impacts that meta has been doing.
