On changing my status from F1 to H1B I got I797B approval ( i.e consular processing)

I am currently on STEM OPT

I) Is my status good to stay or do I need to leave the country?
2) should I ask my lawyer to file an amendment and change the application to COS from consular processing ?

My wife is a Software engineer - QA with 2 Yoe, now we are thinking to move to Canada, can someone please guide us on which 2 year course can she pick (for student visa), is data science related course a wise decision? Or how to find a QA related PG program.
Preferably in Victoria, British Columbia

Just sharing! Landed in offer at AWS over five weeks ago and still waiting on a visa transfer update from US CIS. Constantly homesick, has been going on since I moved. Any tips to help get over it?

Note that at MS, 2nd year bonuses in my group last year were 90-115K, while MBA associates received a pro-rated 90K stub (~40k). For those who filed I-140 with premium processing how quickly did you hear back ? Anxiously waiting for approval

Does EY file for I140 under premium processing by default, or would I need to request for this explicitly?

When switching to a new company, does Deloitte cancels the employee's already approved i-140 or do they leave it as it is and the new company can simply restart the i-140 process?

I’m maxing out the 6th year for H1b and my I-140 just got approved. 1 month ago, my employer has filed a h1b extension but it is based on the approved PERM instead of the 140, and only asked for one-year extension. In that case, after 6 months (180 days i140 rule to avoid employer’s revoke), will I be able to switch employers even though the renewed H1b gonna expire soon at that time?

Is someone here stuck on the job title because of the GC processing? I am just so frustrated… it’s making me mentally exhausted since I’ve been working as a Senior for 5 years already. My PERM is still in process and planned to be filed next year.
