Nah... Seems extra AF

No, looks desperate

Looks dumb unless you’re a PhD or an MD, and then it’s still a little douchey

My rule of thumb is anything that can’t be figured out by looking at the education section of your profile. So I don’t put my mba, because you know it by the degree but I do put CPA because you can’t see that in education.

like

No I don’t and have an MBA.

like

I wouldn't do it if I only had an MBA, but when it's CPA MBA I will... For the amount of money I paid, even at a state school, it's going on there. It's not rational but I'm sticking with it

like

No. Only put education initials of it’s a terminal degree

like

No

like

It’s acceptable to do it. Makes your profile stand out

likefunny

No. If you work at a reputable company and have a non-junior level title (manager, director, partner), it will be assumed you have sufficient credentials and expertise to be at your level. Your other work experiences will play a larger role in people deciding if you have the right skill set for their need

likefunny

No. Only professional certifications are abbreviated next your name

STACEYYSS GOT IT GOING ON!

Yes.

You earned those titles so put it on your LinkedIn if you want!

I think it’s a bit academic to do that. Cpa is very acceptable but it gets ridiculous. Hi I’m bob smith cpa abv mba phd cisa cfa

like

A MÁS? Wtf is that

I have my PhD and I don't put it on either, but mine was honorary. I don't list my MBA from babson either. I let my estate, cars, boat and trophy wives do the representing :)

In all seriousness, I look at candidates more seriously if they have those 3 letters, but if they can't relate to others and think it sets them up to be better it hurts quite a bit. Linked in is one of 3 places it is appropriate to list. You earned it and until you get your own plane/jet take every advantage you can.
