Once you get status at a hotel chain, do you only stay with the same chain or do you try to get status at other chains? (I’m platinum with Marriott/SPG, should I try to get status with Hilton or Omni?

I'm about to start my first travel case. SPG or Accor?

I’m in interviews with a few companies. It was initially to see what was out there to negotiate my pay. Now, I’m seriously considering leaving my current company because of what one of the prospect companies represent: everything I want in a company/role. (Plus they reached out to me) AND they will pay me almost double what I’m currently making annually, put me in a position to advance (so many options!!!!!) and allow me to move/travel when I get ready to.

What should I do? Guidance please!!!

Is it just me or Marriott is actively trying to kill the SPG brand. Have been trying to reach SPG platinum customer service line - 3 attempts so far, each lasting 30 mins, no success yet.
