Hi fishies. I have a ton of interviews coming up soon including a case interview at EY within their Innovation and Experience Design practice for Digital Strategy Manager. I am super comfortable with CX, design thinking, etc which are the types of projects I would be working on BUT I am absolutely terrible in case interviews. I was hoping it would be based on CX or design but my understanding is there is some revenue component idk. Anyone have any insight? I would greatly greatly appreciate it!

I want to provide an unbiased opinion: deloitte is better.
this is the obvious answer

Shocking that people haven’t given the clearly correct answer: EYP>D in literally every dimension.
Comp, prestige, culture, growth, exit opps, quality of work, etc
Career progression is significantly slower at Deloitte than EYP no matter what group you're in. Average (not taking extremes into consideration) compensation is MUCH higher at EYP as well.
In terms of capabilities, I think EYP is much stronger in the strategy, PE, and value creation side. Deloitte has a strong M&A arm so I'd say that's probably where they are closest to EYP, but even then I think most people would take EYP TSE over Deloitte MAR.

Who cares. I've never heard of tier terminology outside of Reddit and Fishbowl. Go with the firm where you think you'll be more successful and like better

And more importantly, no one in industry cares either

gotta toss my hat in for EYP here

Yup

Tiers don't matter outside of our grossly insular world.
Go with whichever position is more interesting and/or has better comp.
EYP >>>>>>> Deloitte
I would take monitor Deloitte > EYP
