One of my previous managers bullies me at work. He takes digs and jabs at me, and make it sound funny but effectively it’s uncomfortable.he said “we all knew you were looking for new jobs during Covid because you commented “interested” on a LinkedIn post and it came up on our feeds.” He said this in front of current manager & laughed it off.

Truth is, I never did that because I was never looking for a job. However to be double sure? I checked my past LinkedIn activity too.. How to handle this?

Good Evening My Fellow Christian Educators! I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom. So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise. I know he was the provider of the household and his wife didn't have a job since she was raising three young ones. Needless to say, I had to take off because I felt terrible, sick to my stomach. How do you deal with firing guilt? Is that a thing? I can't help but feeling like I did something wrong.
