Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Hello, Thank you for sharing your question. With your 5 years of retail experience, including 3.5 years as an assistant manager, you have a strong foundation in customer service, multitasking, and team coordination, skills that translate really well to front desk and receptionist roles. Focusing on highlighting these transferable skills in your resume and interviews can help you convert those “green flags” into actual job offers.
When I faced a similar challenge of getting interviews but not the outcomes I hoped for, support from the career team at alfredpetersonhiringteam/gmail/com helped me better showcase my abilities and target the right roles. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to secure my first role as a flight attendant. If you want personalized tips and strategies for positioning your experience, connecting with their support group could be really helpful. Wishing you confidence and success as you move toward your next role!
Security companies sometimes have reception jobs. Look into Allied Universal or similar.
No real advice for you other than to keep going. The fact you're getting interviews without any direct front desk experience is really encouraging, and even more so given the market you're doing it in. You're clearly on the right track.
Thank you for your reply! That did make me feel a bit more confident. 🙂 Something will come of it eventually!
Look into admin assistant or executive assistant jobs as well. Basically managing director calendars, scheduling meetings and such.
There’s also phone based customer service for companies or product specialists. I’m not talking call center exactly, those are miserable. But working directly for the company as a Customer, Product or Support Rep.
Try temp agencies. Randstad is really good in finding temp to perm positions
