Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

Does anyone have advice for job hunting? I’m 25 and work at CNN currently. I’m trying to progress in my career but there just doesn’t seem to be any opportunities. I’m trying to keep myself motivated but it’s tough to get no responses or plain rejections.

After a final interview, how many days after can I expect an answer from the recruiter?

At the end of the interview, the person told me I passed the interview and they were going to talk to the Director who’s a level under them. It’s a yes for them and they’re happy to work with me.

I have an offer for a company abroad. Originally they wanted me to fly out and start the day after Thanksgiving (not celebrated in their country), but because of the holidays I suggested starting in either December or January with the ability to take some holiday days in December to fly back home for Christmas. Anyone know how to get a position as an HRBP without HRPB experience? All positions I've looked at want previous experience. Would over 5 years of HR experience and a PHR suffice, or what skills should be added to that?
