The usual names u can imagine. Mckiinsey, BCG, LEK, Us, ZS, Putnam etc. Big pharma is so incredibly large and diverse, especially within each company’s division, therapeutic area, etc. Notion of prestige matters less than the actual work experience and exposure. Are you working consistently with Ds+ on project engagements in a TA you have several years of experience? Chances are you can easily lateral to a position there

U.S. big pharma at a junior level.
I worked with ZS, health advances and IQVIA very directly, they were our go-to at BU level.
It’s usuallt McKinsey when it comes to top down communication, long term organizational strategy kind of materials. LEK when it comes to M&A, BD, portfolio kind of strategy, also from senior directors
For corporate / growth strategy McK or BCG. I personally prefer McK, which I would have never expected. For TA and disease area strategies Putnam or Clearview. I prefer Clearview. We use Deloitte for org design, op model, and process design. LEK for CDD.
Makes sense. I saw some TA specific outputs once from Clearview and was pretty impressed
Big pharma and it is very domain and project specific. Big strategy questions- McK and Bain, market research or digital strategy: ZS and IQVIA. We are very limited with the preferred vendor selection process and even with that, several BU heads have preferences so it's really not much of work but reputation across board. I really like working with ZS and LEK.
Depends on what type of project. We often work with McKinsey, BCG, Accenture, ZS, Putnam, Trinity
For value access stuff, we seem to use Putnam and Trinity often. Market Insights and analytics we use ZS. Ops, we use Accenture. Commercial strategy we use McKinsey and bcg. This is just the general picture. We, of course, use other firms in each area too, and these firms for others specialized areas; these are just the ones I see most often.
PFE loves BCG for pure Strategy engagements
All of the big pharma are so huge that different groups love different firms so pretty much everyone is embedded lol
Consult for Big Pharma - personally see a lot of BCG, PwC, Accenture and ZS.
Every business unit and client has different players, but those are who I cross paths with the most (in my little world).
