Planning a move to Big 4 consulting in London from Singapore for a senior consultant role. Secured a first round interview with Deloitte - any advice, salary guidance or tips?

Advice needed.. I started at a new company about 8months & it was my dream role. I picked this specific company because I wanted to support this specific exec & it’s been amazing. However he’s now leaving and my role is changing. I know I’m not going to be let go but I’m getting restructured into supporting other execs/ taking on basically a “project” that’s really a job that needs to be fill. But it’s a start up so we all wear many hats. Do I stay or should I start looking for what I want?

Got offer from HCL with fixed component at 20.5lpa. What will be my in-hand salary? Any inputs from HCL people will help me. TIA

I was given a promotion and raise in March of this year and at the time was very appreciative. However, since then I’ve learned that because I was already underpaid the raise I received still has me at a lower salary than others in my role. Is there a way to bring this up now or do I wait until next annual reviews and raises?

Interested in making the move from data analytics to data science eventually at bigger tech co. Currently at a startup, coming up on 1 year mark this week. Got an offer from a ML startup for another data analytics role with clear progression to ML engineer. Comp is the essentially the same (95k). My fear is jumping around too much too frequently. Pregnant/ first trimester in big law. Got informed I should be taking point on some aspects of a major trial, set right around my due date. I don’t want to announce I’m pregnant yet, and don’t want to get pulled from matters so early. Any tips on faster recovery after egg retrieval? Had egg retrieval today and am sore all over my pelvic area. I was riding subway on my way back from the hospital and for a min I started to sweat, feeling week and thought I’d faint. I regretted not taking a cab:) But overall I’m not in pain just feeling sore, especially when I move. Were you able to go back to work the next day?

What gym do you go to? I’ve been thinking of signing up for GoodLife but I’m allured by the nice gyms with the “social wellness” aspects like Cambridge, Altea, Equinox etc. They are quite expensive though so I’m not sure if it’s worth the cost

How does comp change over time in industry? Managed to get a few offers, but they are all lateral moves on my current compensation. Also aware my compensation at a T2 increases my c.10-15% p.a. by just performing. What’s the trajectory like in industry? Am I going to regret this move? Thanks all
