if Deloitte gives you a relieving letter or experience or separation letter what would be the last day employed on that you think? it would certainly be 15th june . assume your 2 months will end on 15th Aug. you can convert to b2 visa though ..that will give you additional 6 months .

The lawyer mailed me just how and I am happy to post my response here . The only thing that will resolve this is an employment letter from Deloitte
Typically, copies of pay statements are included with subsequent petitions to confirm your maintenance of status. You and your prospective employer MAY use the last pay statement and the separation letter to show the last day of employment so long as you understand and accept the risk that in some cases, USCIS may request a letter from the employer confirm the start and end date. Any experience letters provided by Deloitte in the future will reflect the last day of work you physically provided, not the last day of the salary continuation. This may arise as an issue if an RFE for the maintenance of status is issued, and/or if/when your prospective employer is working on a PERM case. I urge you to get an experience letter as soon as possible.

Laws are usually not very straight forward and is how attorneys interpret it to fight a case.p poo
On your future application we only submit pay stubs to show we were employed during the duration not any employment letter, which must be why the attorneys are interpreting it that way.
