Ppl join The Cheap Service (TCS) company in low salary for better Work Life balance.
Now when we have to spend 9 hrs for 5 days, why not join a company that actually pays well for the same amount of work.
4% appraisal we get is less than the inflation (6-7%) so basically our salary is getting reduced each year and expenses ⏫

Infosys has a bridge program to get hikes internally!! TCS has a wings program.. And, you can check with Infosys and TCS folks, which is easier between both! The answer is obvious!
Wings programs in TCS is just to make some useless HR and other folks engaged in the organisation. TCS will soon turn into a BPS company . Its not suited if you are a technical person
The corporate is adapting new norms and digital work from home transformation post COVID.
From LATAM which is progressing towards 4 day work week till APJ which have rapidly accepted the hybrid module. Why would tcs adopt a strategy that is a step back from normalcy?

At Infosys, there were no hikes from 2 yrs !! And, Cognizant froze hikes this year!! 0% is definitely not better than 4-5%, isn't it?!🤔

For Y, C1Y, C1, C2 - 100% of the VP is paid. And, this WFO ruckus you might be seeing is not for all units. I have been working at TCS from 2021, and I have not even done more than 30 days of WFO! No cuttings and no impacts in any way!

Better WLB ? Thats a myth... There are projects where I have worked till 2 in the night and again logged in at 9 next morning and worked on weekends and public holidays too... and on top face the harassment from the top hierarchy and the toxic culture

I basically see that your meaning of work life balance is working less than 9 hrs every day. There is different word for this kind of mindset. It's called free loader.

It is not working less than 9 hours everyday..it is trusting the employees..somedays work can be less than 9 hours so they should be allowed to go rather than sitting idle..and if somedays work is greater than 9 hours the environment created is such that the employees by themselves will sit extra and get the work done rather than being forced by management.
This comment coming from someone working in MBRDI is really strange who does not understand the meaning of work life balance.
