As a 26yo who moved to Dallas, I’d say Dallas is affectionately mid. Not too big, not too small. Some people complain there’s nothing going on but I’ve never had a shortage of things to do if you’re active at all. Lots of pickle ball, sand volleyball etc. hiking is pretty meh but still alright. Lots of young folks down town and areas with a decent amount in the burbs as well. Idk how long I’ll stay here but deff been pleasantly surprised given all the hate I feel like Dallas gets relative to Austin or other major cities
Not a great outdoorsy vibe, but Dallas is a very easy place to live.
0 outdoorsy vibes. Pickleball nation though (a few articles were written about this) and plenty of parks when it’s not 125 degree outside
D1. Thank you good sir! 🤠🤝
Hope you make the move! I served on a Chamber council tasked with communicating Dallas as a great place to work, live and play. Here’s a great website targeting young professionals in their 20s and 30s. http://sayyestodallas.com.
Appreciate everyone’s responses!
