PWC AC really ?
I am a SAP Consultant 11 overall & 7 YOE rel.
Working @ Infy with 14.15 LPA
I have cleared all the rounds of PWC AC, in the HR round I told my expectation is around 25 LPA ( As I already having and offer of 22.5 LPA ), HR tried to negotiate and finally agreed at 23 LPA fix.
Got email to submit my docs like Salary slips, form 16, govt hire form etc.
Also got calls from BGV team, they asked me few documents again which I shared.
After 2 weeks HR called & said they don't have budget and can give max 16.5 fix as they only consider my fix salary and can give 40-45% on top of that.
They will not consider the counter offer I shared.
I was like - Really WTF PWC 😕 ?
After 10 minutes of polite discussion, I told the HR to not call me back in the future 🤣
( I have already resigned from Infosys in Jan 2026, i got outstanding rating for this year. If I would have not resigned I was about to get a hike of 10-12% in Feb effective from January ( Similar to last year )
They are also offering me 30% hike for retaining me but I don't want to stay ( Once resigned, resigned 😅)
Infosys will give me more then what PWC AC is offering, I was not expecting this from a BIG 4.
anyone had similar Experience ???
Same with me. I am working in Infosys with 8.64 LPA. Have offer in hand with 15 LPA I am asking just for 16 and HR is like we don't have budget.
This happens when they found another candidate in parallel who is under their budget.

I thought BIG4 doesn't think about Money too much. They just need the right talent.

Don't worry. Join PwC and keep hunting for better jobs. If you get a better job 1-2 months after joining PwC, resign from there. Their loss.
I told PWC HR to not call me back.
Usually HR rejects candidates, In my case I rejected HR.
I already have a offer for 22.5 LPA.
