I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.

I had to rescind my acceptance to an offer at EY back in April because I had a medical issue present for a surgery and I didn’t want to complicate things with time off and changes in insurance and such since it was a scary process in and of itself.
