Q: what are the parking options at LAX? Uber/Lyft has been awful and expensive (for personal travel)

Just Uber/Lyft. It’s expensive but will still end up being cheaper than any parking options in the area.

Issue is more so getting from LAX to home it’s a nightmare

There are many options on cheapairportparking.org. I’ve used a few including QuikPark and Four Points by Sheraton.

I think the problem is that Uber and Lyft aren’t reliably going to get you to the airport. I have friends in LA that have scheduled rides and they still don’t show up. It’s a wider problem in cities where there aren’t enough drivers since covid began. Also driving for a ride share is equivalent to getting a cash advance with your car as collateral - not super appealing.

Hello! I just got a raise and I’m officially making six figures under 25 (a personal goal I always wanted to reach) I’ve also worked my ass off to save this year so I’d like to treat myself to a piece that will remind me of this career milestone. What handbag, piece of jewelry, or other “hallmark” are you glad you splurged on early in your career? I’m not a huge designer handbag gal, but I want something tangible to remind me of my hard work getting here. Thanks!
