Retouching?
Yes, but where? Outside of New York, down in south FL this sort of job is harder to find. I’m slowly building a side hustle, but I just would love it if there were more production shops or something. All suggestions are welcome.

Leo has begun talking about how we help people manage the back part of their career. We always focus on career planning into management, but not for end of career. Well they have begun to do that. We don’t need - nor want - to always move UP and do more, or manage more. So having a path that lets us move down, over, or into a different role that better suits us is smart. I just had a CD ask if he could move into a Sr AD role - and yes the salary goes down of course. But for him it meant more time with his family, less time traveling, and more time doing work he loved. We are trying to have him move into a completely separate team so it feels like a fresh new start. But the more we normalize this kind of thing, the better it is for all of us. So we need to champion this ourselves by helping people do this, and by filling some of our own open roles (when we have them) with folks moving down and not always moving up. The experience and expertise brought to the job alone is worth it, not to mention the mentoring of younger staff.
It’s good to hear Leo is recognizing this issue and experimenting on how to mitigate it and even turn it into a successful scenario for the agency. Would be amazing if other big agencies catch on. I estimate I got about 5-9 yrs before I’m in deeper trouble.
