Thoughts on making the transition from paid to organic? I'm currently learning technical SEO on the side now and refining my blog writing skills for a friend but wanted opinions of others already in the field. Main reason of trying to transition is looking for slower pace of things

I agree with the other comment, SEO i wouldn’t say is slower pace unless your looking to stay at an analyst or senior analyst level. Most upward growth in SEO is overall business/client managing

Having worked on both sides, I’d say the transition is easier the other way around. But, if slower pace is what you’re after, also be prepared for slower ROI, a LOT more cross functional work/dependencies , and a LOT more selling (internally or to a client).
