You’re making senior July 1? I think I’d see that as about an even trade. If it’s a good opportunity otherwise, go for it. I expect you’ll get to around 100k based on the comp discussions we just had. Bonus will add to that. Plus your manager bonus if you’re at PwC. You’ll make slightly more at the new place but will be outpaced within a year or two. So for a good opportunity i would consider it.
Huh can you jump from 80k to 100k in a year like PwC 1 said? That’s a substantial raise, no? I thought normally that would be for promotion year

Good luck finding another exit opportunity that pays that well as a manager. You'd be a complete fool to pass it up.
In a high COL area, any big city, I don’t think that is unusual exit salary for a manager at all...
My only question to you is: Are you still there? I'd be running like a MOFO to that.
If he's a s2 he has two years to manager, and that 125k will be higher. He would be paying 45k + bonus difference a year to stay in PA... not worth.
I'm 17 months away from manager currently... and I'm only 80% sure of that.
That’s silly not to take it. You don’t make that much as a manager or manager jump to controller.

Ehhhhh 50/50 on happiness in public. I take interviews when I get pissed and I recently found out I'm being thrown under the bus but the person doing it doesnt know I know.
Ask for a stay back bonus and wait up till you make manager. Once you are manager, this 125k will be 150k easy.
