HSBC Results are out HSBC’s pre-tax profits almost doubled to $2.7bn in the final quarter of 2021 as the UK lender’s commercial banking revenues were buoyed by growth in credit and lending. The London-based bank said in an earnings statement on Tuesday that full-year pre-tax profits increased 115 per cent to $18.9bn, just missing forecasts of $19.1bn. Joining as 601 , got 22 lpa, Android (Total yoe 7.4)
Should I ask for more ? Current is 14.2

It would take a minimum of two years, likely 3. 1 year for each promotion and the post on searching the intranet for "promotions" was spot on.

They don't really promote. You can apply for a higher position. Remember though, Chase's policy is that you shouldn't be seeking a higher position because of money, but because you WANT that position. A higher grade, does not necessarily mean an increase in salary. As a 601 I was making the same or more than my last two managers who were 602 & 603.

What can I give as expected CTC in JPMC during HR discussion?
I saw that 502 is for Tier 1 and Tier 2 college freshers. I am from Tier 3 college with 3 y.o.e in IT. Is it right to be at 502 grade? Is 502 means lesser responsibilities than 601 or 602? And when can I expect to be 601, given I already have 3 years of experience.
