Rando observation: I (31F) recently attended a bachelor party as 1 of 2 females, and observed the simple pleasures of the male mind (e.g. the enthusiasm of watching a spider crawl on the ceiling for 20 minutes). It was the start of a great case study for how I can learn to chill my mind and appreciate the smallest details around me.

Any advice on where to go after PR (financial & healthcare)? I have one year of experience and have been pretty disappointed with my current agency. I have a been actively interviewing & was thinking to go into the sales route. I graduated in 2021 and really have no idea where I want to end up. I’ve been talking to people & networking trying to figure out next steps— could use some insight. The culture at my current agency isn’t the best & the pay is basically unlivable for NYC. Any thoughts?

Had interviews at three different places recently, all of which seemed to go well. Recruiters/HR people told me they’d be in touch with next steps end of last week or early this week. Haven’t heard from any of the three and none of them have responded to follow-up emails 🙃

Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Preparing for my final round case interview and I’ve realized that whereas prior to the first round I was pretty comfortable with casing, now I’m less and less so since I’m increasingly anxious that I could not come up with the right buckets. I’m also doing more untraditional cases at times which makes me feel like I’m not performing that well. Has anyone experienced similar things? How did you cope with it/What’s your advice?
