My partner works in investment banking and is working on a project that has them working until 3am every night and working every weekend for about a month and a half now. They usually handle it very well but I can tell it’s starting to get to them. How can I support them? Also, any tips for partners of people who work crazy hours is appreciated!

Question: Girl friends parents finally came over for a ristha. Everything went great or so I thought but now she wants to time to think about moving forward. The pain point she brought up is that we are in different states and she is feeling pressed. Although in that time she has started communicating less and I literally had to beg her to get on face time. My gut says she wants to end it but unsure. Any advice ? I’ve learned recently about some traumatic events that family members of mine have gone through but I had no idea had occurred. Besides my parents divorcing I really have not experienced that many hardships or trauma in my life. Sometimes it makes me worry if I’m due for something bad to happen, if the other shoe was going to drop at some point. I know hardships are a part of life and I feel like I have had far less than normal

Anyone have any similar experience or insight? My boyfriend asked for space/not really together anymore and he says he started to become nervous about being in a long term committed relationship. Even tho he said he saw me as long term & I’m his best friend and he loves me but why then? Does space help you guys figure it out? (Help / advice please😞)

Teaching has taken over so much. I’m a wife and mother and still have a home life, but there is nothing outside of work and home. I have no friends, no other activities, no escape. Covid restrictions do not help. I know it’s not healthy to only focus on everyone else, but I’m not sure what to do about it. I have only sporadic time opportunities and I don’t even know what I enjoy doing anymore. When trying to do other stuff I can’t turn off mom or teacher brain.

Do you think you and your significant other should have similar personalities? My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. On his end he sees it as he’s comfortable.

Anyone dealt with a Christian parent who has been backsliding since the pandemic? Is this common? And how did you deal with it?

My wife often calls me by 5:45/6 to ask where I am if I’m not headed home yet. Sometimes she’s stressed with kids/dogs/dinner and really wants me home. This really throws off my concentration because it makes me feel rushed. Like many practices sometimes I’m out at 5:30, other times it’s much later. Just depends and is unpredictable.
