If I start searching for new job, will that HR ask about recent offer letter? Or only salary slips are enough?

No I don’t think that’s overstepping at all. You’re showing interest in the role.
But if they didn’t respond, I wouldn’t follow up.
Def not overstepping, but don’t follow up (especially after only 3 days), if they are interested they will reply.
Definitely wasn’t planning on following up so quickly, if at all. Just wanted to make sure that I knew, if should follow up, how long to wait—so that I didn’t miss my chance!
I know I’m antsy, so I wanted to be on top of getting this advice, ha.
Not overstepping. I’d appreciate the additional reach!
Remember that nobody has time to look at your stuff, even when they need to hire. People get bogged down and busy. I say follow up regularly until you get a “no thanks”

The paradox is, they especially don’t have time to look at your book when they need to hire — because they have more work than they can do themselves.
