My first lateral associate interview is coming up. Aside from the obvious questions (Why this firm? Why do you want to leave your old firm? And asking about resume experiences), is there anything I should be prepared to answer? Has anyone been stumped by a lateral interview question?

My company is looking for a new CFO (my would be boss) and I may have an opportunity to interview him/her. What questions should I ask ?

I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. It’s been two weeks since and complete radio silence. I sent an email to a hiring manager a week ago but received no reply. It’s August so people could be on vacation but this is really strange. I returned back from Germany this year and now my current fixed CTC in India is 25 LPA and my in hand salary after deduction was 1.4 LPM, I was not sure what to opt in the Tax regime and selected new tax regime. Hey everyone! I’m struggling to decide whether I should pursue a full time MBA or a Part Time MBA. Truly, what scares me about a full time one is the fact that I won’t work for two years. I know it’s a big investment and I’ll be rewarded for ir later on, but the thought of it still scares me. I would love to get someone’s thoughts on this! Is the experience very different? Will I be exhausted if I do the part time? Is there something I’m not considering when it comes to the Full Time?
