Received an offer from EY via phone and I am still waiting for written offer and contract since December. I have been advised that there are some delays in the process. Does anyone have a similar issue or know why this is happening?

Is it a fail of character leaving biglaw? I want to leave, but despite the constant stress and suffering, I can’t avoid feeling like it’s my fault or that maybe I’m over exaggerating how I feel. All my colleagues feel ridiculously happy, I’m the grinch one that’s never enjoying the grind (but the grind is hard and competitive, very competitive) :( any thoughts? Is there future after quitting biglaw so young?

Need help: I got an in house counsel offer for a venture fund. I’m a 4th year. 275 50 bonus 50 options every year. Full benefits covered work anywhere. I’m panicking this is dead end and I’ll never move on and I should stay in biglaw. Am I crazy? Am I stuck in biglaw mindset?

Silly question but, how did you make close friends when you first moved to Miami? Feeling like a fish out of water, from Texas.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

Has anyone started going to office? I went this week thrice! I did not like even a bit. Have started looking for remote jobs.
