If your hike is around 30% of your current CTC or 15–20% on your holding offer, that’s honestly a win in today’s reality.
Because let’s face it — just because someone out there earns 50 LPA in your skill market while you’re at 25 LPA, doesn’t mean you’ll suddenly be catapulted to that level. You climb that ladder by stacking multiple offers, not multiple hopes or by checking market and asking the numbers.
And about the grade/band – being a Senior Specialist - 100% of cases means you’re an individual contributor.
Not a “Team Lead,” not a “People Manager.”
If you happen to mentor a few 1–3 YOE folks, congrats — you’re unofficially a “lead,” but officially still an IC (Individual Contributor).
In short — play smart, not sentimental. Titles flatter, but payrolls matter.

Ic4 is a lead / architect role and your offer is good, please ensure you are tagged to a client then only join else please look out as the number of projects are very less and the management is horrible. Silent layoffs are happening and huge number of people are on bench

Salary wise no doubt you can join, with this salary someone in India should be ready to work in hell as well 😁.
But check if the project has that opportunity or simply they will ask to work on low code no code platform in the name of AI-ML Or simple Python back-end developer.

Scarp projects or basically something burning thing they have that's why they hire for such hire packages and once dine they release 3 months max..
In one our project Al ML guy kicked off from 52 LPA joined 2 months back now he not getting project bench time over and he has to go...
This is the overall storybof sudde hikes of 100-209 percent..

Bro one doubt, I am asked for a Senior Specialist DevOps interview at LTIMindtree with 6.5 years of experience. Does that designation contain a huge experience gap like 6-11 years?
Also what could be the expected CTC for that role with that particular experience. CCTC is 15 LPA
