Making a horizontal move at the Manager level from a traditional to digital team - how can I perform my best and not be babysat by my boss while I try to learn everything?

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.

I've received a feedback of being too honest, and too personable which could potentially damage my work reputation (haven't yet). It made me feel personally attacked. Is this a real thing?

I don’t sign into teams on Fridays and someone on my project acts like i’m unreachable when they can just text me or email me ugh.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?
