When I interviewed they told me I was not required to recruit but now I’m required to upload 50 “My Relationships” every certain amount of months where other recruiters can technically go after my contacts and recruit them and also am expected to invite potential networking to events and through the beaker model. I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Yet all of these associates say they are “at capacity”, and myself and another associate still end up being assigned work instead of them. How do we handle this? For reference, all associates are around the firms minimum requirement, it’s just that a few of us are 30+% over and it is leading to burnout.

New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Incoming AC at Bain, previously was deciding between Bain and McKinsey. But, ultimately chose Bain for the culture despite McKinsey being aligned with my professional goals of working in the government. I was looking on LinkedIn and didn’t find many people who are working in the White House after Bain, but found countless examples for McKinsey. Would it be difficult to try to transition to working in government after a few years at Bain? Any thoughts?

I got a referral from an EM over a month ago. He says my candidate status showed "turned down" immediately following the submission. He suspects it was because the status from my previous application to McKinsey over 2 years ago got pulled into the system automatically.
