If the house was built in the mid-70s or earlier than you should consider getting a sewer line inspection unless they can provide proof that they’ve replaced the cast iron sewer lines. I’ll check NextDoor for recommendations and come back and add that to my comment.

To answer your other question, yes, living in Texas you’ll want to have the hvac system inspected for an old home. It’s $100 to $200. Tons of companies can do this. Hart HVAC is one we’ve used before.
The general inspector for the home will usually have in their notes recommendations on other inspections you should have, which can be helpful.
