Wow congrats on your admit to Temple’s Fox School of Business!
Jk jk. In all seriousness I’ve heard majority of the time flights out of Philly suck and students split an Uber to fly out of JFK or LGA. You might as well stick with Delta.
Would disagree. I live in philly and travel almost weekly. American isn't as bad as people say it is. Besides a delay every once and awhile they get you where you need to be. It all depends where you will be traveling to most frequently. I travel to Sfo, ord, dtw, clt and lax quite frequently. All have direct flights. Have even taken direct flights to orlando, Phoenix and new orleans via American from philly. You should be alright
^^^ no one splits Uber to LGA, that’s a 2+ hour ride for a smaller, more expensive airport that offers more or less the same routes
Just basing off what multiple current students have told me. Although the students I know are going more to Africa and Asia than Western Europe so that might play a role.
I’ll validate this Fall and let you know
Yes. Source: live in Philly and work in consulting, Delta represents less than 5% of flights. American roughly 70% of all flights, has direct routes to basically anywhere in the country. Option #2 should be UA out of EWR (avoid at all costs)
Thanks all. Sounds like if I can successfully do a status match it’s worth switching early, else maybe just wait til I’m actually there. Not sure what I’ll do with my metric tons of Delta miles but I’m sure I’ll find a way
