How do you recommend finding recruiters who specialize in a particular geographic area? (Tampa Bay specifically)

Got a verbal offer from Grant Thornton. The recruiter told me that they would get the paperwork over by Thursday or Friday. I mentioned that I am strongly considering the firm however I have other companies that I am also considering so I will be making my decision based on that. The recruiter then mentioned that I’ll likely have 3 days to respond after the offer is given. Is this normal? What should I do? Can I ask for an extension?

Does anyone have any insights about Deloitte virtual interview for their USDC. From what I've been told it's 2 interviews process one cultural & one technical.

I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.

Last week I had an interview with Infosys, it didn't go well as per my expectations but i was able to answer most of the questions asked by the panel and they said I will get the feedback from HR team but it's been more than one week and I didn't get any update on this. EDITORS.. do you find that you work weekends on EVERY SINGLE JOB when your cutting for the first screening? No matter what the job is like, no matter how complicated or not, no matter the ship date, I find that I have to work weekends to accommodate the first screening.

How many points? Caribbean Marriott Cat 3 property, 5 nights. They have an issue with the boiler so no hot water and shower stops in between. Ice cold showers for 4 days in a row 🥶. Hotel phones don’t work because network is down and only local channels work on tv. Last night they had a huge leak in the lobby. They kept knocking stuff all night to fix it and then left a large floor fan running. I understand it’s tough reopening so don’t want to push, plus they upgraded our room at check in.

I am a new (lateral) associate at a small firm where everyone currently works from the office. When I started, I wasn’t told specific firm hours. I’ve tried to figure out when to come and go based upon when the partners arrive and leave, but their schedules are very inconsistent. The other associates don’t have helpful guidance for me. Assuming that if I ask the partners they’ll say to use my discretion, what are reasonable hours to keep?
