RPA adoption in Federal

Hi folks, I've accepted an offer from Monitor Deloitte as a Strategy Consultant. Although in the offer letter, the name of the company is Deloitte India LLP. Just wondering if anyone else has gone through the process and is currently working at Monitor. I wanted to understand about the projects, hierarchy and overall culture at Monitor. My base location is Gurgaon. Deloitte India Deloitte Monitor Deloitte Deloitte USI

Hope this gives the RPA enthusiasts some context and adoption rates across the various functional areas. These numbers were presented at the ACT IAC Intelligent Automation Conference last week in Washington DC
Great to see movement, worked for a Big 4 3 years back delivering RPA to Feds.
Plenty of POCs, but little investment beyond this stage.
Glad those efforts are translating into results, great for all citizens!
Was not, at the time was at D.
Certainly EY was seeing the same attitude at the time, clients wanting to see, but not wanting to buy.
I see used cases everywhere in local government- the whole of DMV apart from driving instructors can be automated
The update you guys have all been waiting for.
The Federal Robotics and Cognitive Consortium (FRCC) is proud to release the first quarterly edition of the FRCC Bot Index! The Bot Index is a data driven summary of the existing Robotics landscape across the government. Data was collected from agencies, vendors, system integrators, and other stakeholders delivering RPA. This is the first stride in our industry to move towards a better understanding of where RPA is positioned within the Government!
IT Help desk , HR and Procurement are our pilots. The Big 4 are very big in Finance related use cases.
So, I see a 16 person headcount reduction based on hours saved (highly unlikely across 30+ agencies) driven by inclusion of 100+ bots that require maintenance. If this is a pilot going to scale, then great, but given the inputs, this sounds like a low ROI with limited actual outcome. Not trying to sound like a negative person (unlikely how you see it), but I would rip this apart as a client lead. Hoping I don’t understand the full story
This isn't 100 bots at one agency. This is 100 bots across the space. It's also out of date. The newest iteration will be published next week.
Great point, but the cost of Federal employees is high. Even at a ratio of 16 FTE to 100 Bots, there is potential for these efforts to capture an ROI, likely with breaking even in year 2 when accounting for Dev and tech cost.
Point is very valid point, this appears open to skepticism.
Side note, wish I was as analytical as you!
C1 no one can see the Bot Index. Upload a cleaner version.
