Salaries in computer engineering keep dropping, and stable jobs are disappearing. I’m often paid the same as people who do a fraction of the work, which makes me want to quit, but there’s nothing better out there.

So I turned to overemployment. If I can do the work of multiple people in less time, why not? It’s not just about money, but feeling valued.

Anyone else dealing with this? How do you handle the disconnect between pay and performance?

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.
