Those are great points. I have been thinking the same while doing my trainings.
I find SF’s approach to AI so far light on actual application. Too much sales and marketing and too little engineering and product management to make it widely useful and actually something with meat on it. But that seems to be the name of the game right now across the industry. The winner here beyond this hype cycle is the vendor who can get the technical advantage over the competition ( that can also mean being able to engineer the offering to be available at a good price point). This is slightly out of sf’s normal wheel house of build something good enough and market / sell the hell out of it, and unlike other things they have built this proposition is much easier to measure see the efficacy of the offering.
They had one in June so why again but I like the industry breakdown and I updated my resume. There’s some good nuggets but will get the real deal at DF. Are you attending? 🧐

I have seen requirements for Data cloud in new projects. AI is not there yet.
