Thanks in advance for your help.
Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

Rising Star
It’s mostly upsides. Overtime pay is fantastic, especially if you don’t have to get approval to work excess hours.
Con - they can require a minimum number of hours per week.
Pro: Overtime and if you leave with a positive PTO balance you’ll get a payout
Con: limited time off(?)
Non-exempt has PTO not sure how many days you accrue, although it’s published online. Something like 15 days to start and then more after a certain number of years. Exempt is flexible time off (unlimited) at manager approval
Shouldn't they tell you what the changes entail?
Another con, assuming they don't guarantee 8 hours of work a day: you then have to worry about justifying your hours and getting scrutinized accordingly. It will be harder to hit 8 hours if there's a slow day or slow week, such as holidays or firm shutdowns. Maybe whoever owns your budget sees you as flex labor and asks that you only work x hours per week.
Things may not change overnight, but they've clearly decided that they can get whatbthey need done without paying for an exempt person. Sounds like your income will go down meaningfully when all is said and done, so start job hunting.
Welcome!
My SO is non-exempt at Salesforce and it has been the best of both worlds.
Best of salaried job: Salary is good. Has way better PTO than I have in consulting. Great benefits.
Best of hourly job: gets 1.5x hourly rate for every hour over 40. Overtime is often capped at 5 hours for the week, which means his WLB is phenomenal
