I had intervened with them last year for a Sr director role and cleared all interview till last round when they mentioned it was on hold due to company wide layoffs but I will be considered for final round when things open up again. No word….may be the recruiter also was laid off. IMHO it’s a waste of time till situation stabilizes…..you prepare and attend all interviews and then you are told you are on hold
It’s a very polite way of saying we are not that into you .

My honest advice - if you are looking to get into the ecosystem - is to begin training on trailhead. Focus on the admin beginner trails so that you become familiar with the platform. Delivery is a tough game, because you must be hands-on to be successful.

Have not seen layoffs at Big4 yet. Surprised Accenture is laying off. I’ve seen hiring freeze thou.
Director is just a rank/title - is it a delivery position? Sales? Strategy?

Professional services is probably the only team that is still hiring in Salesforce so a lot of laid of employees are applying for those roles and given that most of the laid off employees are top performers with tons of knowledge and tenure I believe they have competitive advantage
What’s the role? Delivery? And probably not. We laid off 8000 people. They get first dibs.
I wouldn’t count in it. lLike it was said…a lot of high quality talent was let go.
Do you have implementation experience? Hands-on Salesforce experience through BC? Understanding the platform is a differentiator
