Seeing ourselves as one dot among many encourages empathy and humility. How do you think adopting this mindset could change the way we treat each other?

I think you can only encourage empathy and humility when we see ppl as humans who deserve respect and dignity. Like all humans deserve to be treated well. If we are merely a dot or a number, I feel like we run the risk of losing all significance in terms of our place in this world and with each other. Just my opinion.

Beautifully said. Treating people with genuine respect and empathy keeps our humanity intact. When we reduce others to numbers or dots, we risk losing meaningful connections and compassion. But at the same time it highlights the importance of these connections and that we cannot do things alone.

It's a balance I guess

I agree! I think too many have what is recently popularly called "main character syndrome." We are ALL the center of our own universes and we ALL matter... Thanks for sharing. 🙏
