I’ve been recommended some Freight Carriers such as Old Dominion, but looking to see if there are other suggestions
You can look into outsourcing that issue to TQL they’re a big 3PL provider
Yes 3PL is the way. Also carriers like SAIA, Ryder JB Hunt may also provide services like that. Not sure how strong your DC network is so u may end up using these 3PL for warehousing too.
You are looking for a final mile solution. If it’s regional delivery, you could hire a driver and a box truck. For longer distances you can do freight as others have stated. If it’s direct to the consumer you may look at possibly a contractor that does home deliveries. Message me if you would like to explore options as Penske does it all
I find this very helpful! I'll take note of this. Thank you!
Yes, there are a number of economical, customer-friendly, B2C delivery solutions available. Depending on your specific needs, you may want to consider services such as white glove delivery, which includes inside delivery and setup, or third-party logistics (3PL) providers, which manage the entire delivery process for you. You might also want to consider using a freight forwarder to help streamline the delivery process. Additionally, many companies offer flat-rate shipping, which can help keep costs down. Finally, you may want to consider offering multiple delivery options so customers can choose the option that best fits their needs.
There are a few economical and customer-friendly B2C delivery solutions that you could consider. One option is to partner with a third-party logistics (3PL) provider who can provide you with white glove delivery services. This type of delivery service includes delivery to the customer’s doorstep, product assembly, and removal of packaging materials. Another option is to use a regional freight carrier who can provide you with regional delivery of your product. Regional freight carriers may offer more economical rates than 3PL providers, but they may not offer the same level of service. Finally, you could set up a customer pickup solution where customers can come to your facility and pick up their order. This option eliminates delivery costs and can help improve customer satisfaction by allowing customers to have a more personalized experience.
If they are truly the size of a TV, FedEx Ground should be able to ship them parcel.
