I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. Okay well great thanks for telling me this now, 6 months after it was initially exchanged. I don’t understand how he could do that.

At my uncles wedding in Madrid I remember lying down on the grass in the courtyard after their first dance and crying, my Dad came and saw me, laid down in his suit beside me and asked what was wrong.

Why does Sunday feel like Sunday...never like any other day?

I have an estranged relationship with my sister. I haven’t had a relationship with her in 13+ years, and haven’t even seen her in about 5 years. We had a really bad falling out and I never really carried for her as a person. But for some reason I feel an immense guilt for not wanting a relationship, simply because of this convoluted idea of family and sticking together no matter what. Anyone else have this issue? How do I go about making peace with someone I don’t want nothing to do with?

Me and my partner are not sure whether we want to have kids . Sometimes we want to and the next day we are completely against the idea . The reason we want to have kids is that we want to grow our inner circle , have more people in this world who we can call our family. And we don’t want to have kids is that it will put extra pressure on us , less freedom for next 10-15 years. Wanted to understand why people have kids or don’t have kids .
