Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. Please help! I'm looking for writing terminology. At our agency, we are getting more into creative writing vs ... executional writing? Please help me find the right term. Creative means developing the big idea (concepting), writing scripts and headlines with flair, etc.) for an awareness "hook" and then the other camp, which includes brochures, one pagers, banner ads, sales sheets.

I don't know if this is a recent change but I’m seeing postings for junior copywriter/community manager roles. Have these roles always been attached or posted at a junior level? Is this merged role worth considering as someone young in the industry with more traditional intern and freelance copy experience.
