Got a job offer from Standard Chartered Bank recently. Went through 4 rounds of interview and got an email saying I’ve been selected but they said it’ll take about 2 weeks to come out with even just a verbal offer? Is this common across banks in Singapore or are they just stringing me along?

Anyone have any advice going into the mock/pitch portion of the interview?

Hi, I'm getting lot of interview calls for SAP SD Consultant but they want someone experienced 2 to 3 years of experience, 1 or 2 implementation done, support or rollout etc, Relevant experience of sap is zero I have, for BFSI industry is 3+ years I've, so what would u suggest??I'm not getting any work, 5 months gap already now in doing SAP course, hana certifications etc,any fresher in SAP, how u made it in SAP? Experienced hire. Put interests on resume or no?

Currently interviewing for an Associate Partner role with New York Life. I have 15 years experience in financial services. What should I be asking for when it comes to salary. The range they give is $60k-$160k base, not including bonuses.

H1B visa stamped.

While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

This feels like unfair practice. Is it common? What should be my approach?

One of the biggest resume mistakes I see is focusing solely on job duties. Yes, you should include relevant responsibilities, but you should frame them in a way that highlights your skills. And include achievements wherever possible. Quantify them if you can. A good way to frame them is "Achieved X by doing Y."

What exactly counts as ghosting . ?
You go on a date spend quality time , you have some intimate moments and the next thing the guy does is unmatch you on the app without sending a text.
Does this count as ghosting ?
Is expecting a text from other person saying " this is not what he is looking for " is too much to ask ?
This kind of behaviour puts other person on the self doubt mode.
