Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢

Has anyone else talked to a doctor about stress while trying to conceive? I’ve been having a really hard time wanting a baby for the way my husband and I have been arguing or talking to each other. I think we should go to counseling. I know I love him and I know he loves me- there’s just so much animosity so much anxiety around discussions. Do you think our anxiety or tension is because we have not been able to conceive?

Has anyone switched labs for better lab quality/embryologist experience? Wondering if there is a significant difference between labs. We got poor results at our current clinic and, happens that our clinic is rated lower on SART website. Wondering if the lab quality is the reason or if the clinic handles complicated cases that lead to lower outcomes. Overall, unsure if we should switch clinics or just try again at the current one. Thanks.

I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? So. I've been a Clinical Research Associate for a little over two years making $25.50 an hour. But with my company's CRA shortage and the fact that they are working to the bone, I'm ready to ask for a raise. What percent should I shoot for?

If the ultimate goal is to move in pharma/biotech (bd / strategy type role), does prestige of consulting firm matter? Or would it be better to work for less known firm that may have more client facing opportunities?
